Adson successfully delivered a sophisticated fire suppression sprinkler tank system at our client’s collectible car storage facility in Petersfield.

The works took place on the busy service station, just off the A3/A272 junction and consisted of a larger EHDC Adapted WC in the centre of the carpark. The 14-week programme was completed in a busy location with various businesses surrounding the working area. Access/Egress was very limited, and “just in time” deliveries were adopted.

We used local labour and suppliers ensuring a timely programme delivery and a comprehensive site logistics plan was maintained, with strict safety measures enforced throughout as this project involved the use of a Piling Rig and Masonry works were carried out close to busy public areas.

The project Traffic Management Plan was issued to all suppliers and sub-contractors and a pre-agreed a methodology was drawn up with each sub-contractor that determined how each activity would be delivered in the safest way.

The reinforced cast in-situ concrete slab was best off with a concrete pump, which made the process much quicker on site, and concrete lorries were waiting in the agreed locations, thus, not to block the main roads. Protection was managed and placed upon the existing buildings to prevent any concrete splash damage.
