Project value – circa £650k
Adson Construction ltd had the exciting opportunity to work on the renovation of the Late Queen Elizabeth II tea room and the demolition of approximately 100 linear meters of load bearing masonry walls in a bustling factory setting.
Our team skillfully installed new concrete pads, structural steels, and beams to support the roof structure, ensuring a sturdy foundation. The interior was given a complete makeover, with plaster boarding and skim, Gyproc, Whiterock, and new ceilings and metal trims, topped off with a stunning resin floor.
Executing the project in strict phases, we navigated the challenges of working in the heart of a live factory environment with precision and professionalism. We strived to meet the high standards that Twinings, a renowned brand, expects.
Phase 1 of the project has been successfully completed, allowing for the installation of the new state-of-the-art “Automation Equipment.” As we look ahead, Phase 2 is set to begin in August 2023, bringing even more innovation and transformation to the space.
