Kitchen Upgrade
Adson Construction alongside Ridge and Partners, Castle Carpentry, RDL Commercial and Howdens completed vital upgrade works to areas of Mountbatten Hampshire Hospice in Southampton. The IPU kitchen has new worktops, cabinets and Whiterock wall cladding to assist the kitchen staff in continuing to prepare meals and refreshments in a safe and hygienic environment.
Howdens kindly donated materials to support this work which was carried out in the live Hospice as part of our Community Engagement and Social Value activities, and we are proud to be supporting this important local charity.
‘’We so appreciate your support as this refurbishment work is essential to provide meals for our inpatients in a clean and updated environment. Our catering team are delighted with the result. Once again, a huge thank you to you and all the team’’. B McGregor, client
Clinical Room Upgrade
Following the essential kitchen upgrade works in April 2025, Adson delivered a 2nd important project at the Hospice in June 2025. Works involved complete redecoration, and refresh works to four clinical rooms and a consulting area in Mountbatten’s signature white paint. Again, all works were carried out in a live environment so careful planning and coordination of works was had with all parties to ensure minimal disruption to residents, staff and visitors. These works were vital to enhance patient comfort and privacy and to meet staff needs.
‘’…we’re absolutely delighted with the results. They were not only professional and efficient but also incredibly friendly and upbeat, even in the unbearable heat on Monday and Tuesday. We truly appreciate the continued support you give to Mountbatten Hampshire. Your work has transformed our spaces into cleaner, fresher, and more welcoming environments for both our staff and service users’’. C Sherry, client
